New Bern Sweeps ECC XC Championship

Congratulations to the New Bern Bears on sweeping the ECC 3A/4A Cross Country Championship!
Marcellous White led the Bears to the ECC Conference Championship, edging rival DH Conley by a score of 39-49 at Boyd Lee Park on Thursday.  Conley runners Noah Elliot and Charly Tanner placed closely behind White to lead Conley.

In the Girls Competition New Bern relied on a strong finish by their top 4 runners to overcome DH Conley's depth, defeating the Vikings 33-48. Sisters Chloe and Claudia Cox of South Central were the top girl finishers, finishing 1-2 in the race.
